Tangy Cream Garlic Prawns

Tangy Cream Galic Prawns (serves 2)
remember some twigs for wood fire effect

INGREDIENTS:

  • Green prawns(peeled tails on) x 500g
  • Onion diced x 1 med size
  • Garlic diced 1 tbl spoon
  • Lemon pepper 2 tbl spoons
  • Cream cheese spread x 2 large table spoons
  • Thickened cream x 300ml
  • Oil just a splash
  • Lemon juice just a splash


COOKING EQUIPMENT:
large fry pan, cook top, tongs.

  1. Heat fry pan, add oil, onion and saute
  2. Add garlic and lemon pepper, saute until onion has gone a soft clear color
  3. Add prawns, saute until they start to change colour to orange
  4. Deglaze with lemon juice ,add cream cheese and cream. bring to the boil and reduce to a thick sauce.
  5. Serve over pasta or rice.

nb: other meats to use : chicken pork, scallops fish or muscles.
