The Long Paddock – Cobb Highway Touring Route which follows The Cobb Highway (named for the famous coach company) from Echuca Moama on the Victorian border, through to Wilcannia leading to the iconic outback.  The Long Paddock  - Cobb Highway Touring Route has seen some remarkable changes in scenery over the past few years. Probably none more so then the Black Swamp between Booroorban and Wanganella, home of the iconic Headless Horseman sculpture. The Long Paddock is the colloquial term for the stock routes that cross Australia  – open strecthes of unfenced land that anyone can use to move stock or feed in times of drought. The Long Paddock – Cobb Highway touring route follows the length of the Cobb Highway (610 km)  from Echuca Moama on the Victorian border through to Wilcannia in the north. Its a great drive, easy roads and all fairly good in repair too. We took our caravan the entire way and it survived just fine!

Australia is such a beautiful country and it’s right on our doorstep so it’s time we all got out and about and travel Australia the best way possible, camping and caravanning. For 2012 Series 5 sees us tackle some of Australia's most remotest areas of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Outback Queensland.  Our goal "all clear umpire" is to show off some great treasures of our great country, Australia as well as Sheree's homeland of New Zealand and even an extra special motorhome trip thru Alaska, Canada & USA. Rain, hail or shine.
