Yeppoon & Capricorn Coast Beaches, QLD
|
The stunning Capricorn beaches are out of this world! Its the start of the Great Barrier Reef, with Great Keppel island in full view from the mainland. A tonne of water activities on offer, fishing, swimming, running & playing on the beach, anything you can think of Yeppoon has it all. With fantastic weather all year round, you can visit anytime you like. One highlight was the Koorana Crocodile Farm, just 20mins from Yeppoon. Where the crocs are kept in their natural habit which is awesome to see. Just dont get too close! You get to hold the baby ones and watch the big mighty enormous ones being fed. Its really remarkable how these creatures operate. You get a full commentary from very experienced guides. We started our journey at Yeppoon and ended up in Emu Park. The beaches along the way were all magnificent with plenty of great look outs and walks along the way. |
