The Great Australian Doorstep
 Live Chat

Great Australian Doorstep – is about showing off our wonderful smaller towns. How great they are, and the people who live there. Showing off some of the variety of things to see and do around town and how lucky the locals are, as its on their doorstep. It could be a natural wonder, a secret kept spot, a local legend, anything that shows what a great unique town it is. We intend to encourage School Children to be proud of their town and Australian in general. Keep it clean, recycle and at the same time Eat Healthy and be Active. More importantly help them educate other children to follow their lead, even the older kids at heart, their parents.

Morning! I have been fortunate enough to establish a long career in AFL Football. I have played at 3 clubs, St Kilda Saints, Hawthorn Hawks and now Sydney Swans. I have many interests but none more so than going local, meeting and greeting the good Aussie folk. Previously I have had the opportunity to do this but on a small scale, thru football, our community camps, our football clinics and school visits. It is something I have loved doing, and want to take to the next level and allow others to show off what they have on their Doorstep.
Always working in travel since the day Ieft school, all those years back. I have been fortunate enough to have travelled the world if by a plane or by a boat, sometimes by train or car. Now its time to scrap the 4 star hotels, the taxis and the departure taxes. Its time now to see the real world, in my adopted country. Caravaning is going to take time to get used to but over the last year and several practise trips, I have really enjoyed it and got my hands dirty. A born Kiwi, I have braced myself for an eye opening, at time challenging, but forfilling travelling experience, along with our son Boston 1yr.
Coming out of year 12 with most kids either going to Uni or Tafe or believing they need a year of rest and relaxation, I have taken that path to travel Australia. I travelled these same roads some 9 years ago, loved it, and would now love for others to see what is really out there. Over the past few years I have enjoyed putting short films, school skits together for various school projects and love the tv/film production industry. This for me is a fantastic way to see what I love, that’s Australia, learn what I love, film and tv and doing what I love, being The Geek.
Everyone needs a mascot, and I am the chosen gem that currently has that priviledge. Trust me its not easy, as I am only a pup. My trainer Glen said I will be running soon, and I am a future superstar!

The Jayco BaseStation is all about choice!

I am a new van on the block and very sort after. I am the man! Well..... the Van! My main feature is that I am half caravan and half garage.  And Spida has decked me out with fridges, freezers, stage, PA system and all these sporting goods to stage some huge sports clinics. He has given me the lot, I believe I am a must see!
